Explorer Mode

Explorer Mode
  1. Overview
  2. This game mode serves as a relaxing departure from competitive play.
Players can roam about the map freely and can collect various kinds of collectible items and bonuses. These collectibles give some amount of RP after exploring ends. Several combinations can be performed to gain combo-bonuses. The game ends when the time is up or all the collectible items have been found.
Users can roam around alone or with friends, and because collecting many powerups will be harder with more people, the number of users in this mode increases a multiplier in the RP/XP calculation at the end of the game.

  3. Things that can be collected (Collectibles and Bonuses)
    1. Normal Items
    2. The normal collectible items count towards base points. There are three types of normal collectibles. These types differ only in color and the different colors have a role in combo-making.
    3. Bonus Items
    4. There are bonus items that do something useful for the player for a short period of time. These powerup bonuses, for example, can give more speed or better handling.
    5. Surprise Pack Item
    6. There is a special item: the Surprise Pack. You won't know what it will be when you pick it up. Usually it gives some extra bonus (e.g. more points), but sometimes they do something strange.
    7. Combinations (Combos)
    8. These combos are special combinations that must be performed in order. They give point multipliers for a limited period of time. There are secret combinations in addition to the obvious combinations. Be the first to discover a hidden combo!
    9. Scoring
    10. In addition to the normal points, players will receive bonus RP and XP depending on the collected items, the combo they made and the number of players in that room.
