Drift

Drifting is a driving technique in which you have to make your car slide sideways without spinning out or crash. The longer the drift, the cooler you are.

Drift mode races are played in tracks like VS mode tracks. However, in drift mode it is not important how many laps you made. In drift mode, you have to gather drift points. The player with the most drift points wins the match.

Drift points can be gained by successfully sliding the car and finishing the drift without hitting any walls.

The amount of drift points depend on
- angle (of the car in the curve)
- speed
- length of the drift
- drift multiplier

If you are swift enough you can connect your drifts, thus every new drift points will add to your connected drifts' points.
On the left side of the screen you'll see a list of sectors of the track. You can be a master drifter of a sector by getting the most drift points there.
Bonus points come from the sum of your connected drifts, number of sectors mastered, and longest drift.
