Are you obsessed with Facebook and/or MySpace? Do you love Project Torque? If the answer is yes then boy do we have good news for you!!! Players now have the chance of receiving 100 AP for adding Project Torque as a friend on Facebook or MySpace. That's right, we are rewarding you for being addicted to these silly, yet brilliant websites! For more information about the event, please check out THIS FORUM POST.

We should be receiving a new patch on our test server by Thursday of this week. This will not go to live until we are absolutely sure it not only fixes the current issues introduced by the last patch, but also does not introduce any new issues.

We are avoiding any hot fixes because of past experience with them causing other issues in game.

So in the meantime we will continue to run the game at +100% RP (double) until we push the next patch to live.

We finally got the fixes to the shop tool in and we are going to be making some pricing changes very soon, probably this week. These changes will consist of lowering the RP totals for the low/mid end upgrades, parts and style options. The higher end items won't see much of a change if any.

So you may want to hold off on purchasing any lower to mid grade items until this is implemented. Will let you know exactly when this will happen as it will require a small period of server downtime.

We will be holding a +100% XP event between 4pm-6pm PST - jump on and enjoy the extra experience.

Explorer Mode (Mud and Tokyo Tracks):

When: (11am PST | 7pm GMT | 6am 12/09 AEDT)
Where: Server - Pheobus
Lobby - Explorer
Room - Explorer Event
Track - Mud and Tokyo
Length - We will be doing 5 matches total with 8 players per match.
Rules - None, you can use any car you want! The person with the most icons collected at the end is the winner! Please make sure GMVentsol is the room leader. One match per person as long as the rooms are filling up.

Prizes:

5th place - 2,000 RP
4th place - 3,000 RP
3rd place - 4,000RP
2nd place - 5,000RP
1st place - 6,000RP

This week we will be holding a week long PT Achievement Event, allowing you the whole week to try and achieve one or all of the events (easy/intermediate/advanced)

Start/End Time - Starts Monday 12/17 @ 12am PST | 8am GMT | 7pm EADT, must have screenshots/videos of accomplishments posted by no later than Saturday 12/22 7pm PST | 3am 24/12 GMT | 2pm 12/24 AEDT.

The new Project Torque Patch is has gone live today and adds many new bug fixes and extra goodies. It's starting to feel alot like Christmas in Project Torque and you will notice the festive additions throughout the game.
